Hero Arts May 2021 My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here! Thanks for joining Hero Arts in celebrating the May 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit  Release. If you hopped over from the talented Mindy Eggenyou are in the right place. To start the hop from the beginning, visit the Hero Arts Blog. The entire blog list can be found at the bottom of this post, along with the giveaway information.

Tis' the "sea-sun" for making sea/beach themed cards and paper projects. The May 2021 My Monthly Hero "Under The Sea" Kit offers an ocean of possibilities!

I created 4" X 4" notecards with the angel fish image from the kit. They came together quickly and I hope you will give it a try.

I stamped the angel fish several times onto Dove White and Lavender cardstock in Grape Slush Ink. I used the coordinating frame cut to die-cut the images.

Next, I cut the "Thank You" sentiment in half and stamped it several times in Instens-ified Black Ink onto Dove White cardstock

Yep, you read that correctly, I cut the stamp. It was necessary to get the design I wanted. On a future project, if needed, I can line up the full sentiment on my stamping tool

I die-cut "Thank" and "You" with Nesting Circles Infinity Dies. I die-cut additional smaller circles as well.

I assembled the card by adhering few angel fish, the sentiment circles, a smaller circle and purple enamel dots to a 3 3/4" X 3 3/4" Dove White cardstock panel.

To complete the card, I adhered the panel to a top-folding 4" X 4" Dove White card base.

Quick and easy right? I hope you enjoyed my angel fish note cards today and are inspired to create your own.

Next on the hop is the awesome Seeka! Thanks for taking a peek.

Hero Arts May 2021 MMH Countdown & Giveaway

Hola everyone! Today I am sharing a mini slimline card as part of Day 3 of the countdown to the release of the Hero Arts May 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit. (The kit and link go live on May 3rd!)

If you have not done so, please take a look at the cards shared on days 1 and 2 for the additional peeks at this month's kit. If you are inspired by the projects and like the kit, be sure to grab one before it sells out!

I love the seahorse image in this month's kit and thought it would be perfect for a slimline  card.

To begin, I created a mini slimline card base measured at 3 1/2" X 6" in Dove White cardstock

Choosing a soft beach color palette, I stamped the seahorse in Cornflower, Taffy, Blue Raspberry, Thistle and Creamsicle inks onto Dove White cardstock and die-cut them with the coordinating die.

I then arranged and adhered the seahorses across a 3 1/8" X 5 5/8" Dove White panel.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in Blue Raspberry beneath the seahorses.

I added a few Aquas enamel dots and matted the panel with Adriatic cardstock.  To complete the card I adhered the panel to the card base.

WIN A KIT BEFORE YOU CAN BUY IT: Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We'll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts. The winner will be announced Monday, May 3rd at 10am Pacific/1pm Eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win. Good luck!

I hope I have inspired you today! Please stop by the Hero Arts Blog to see the other creative team member's creations. Don't forget to come back on tomorrow to check out the full release!

Thanks for taking a peek! Have a happy rest of your weekend!

Hero Arts April 2021 My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here! Thanks for joining Hero Arts in celebrating the April 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit  Release. If you hopped over from the talented Mindy Eggen you are in the right place. To start the hop from the beginning, visit the Hero Arts Blog. The entire blog list can be found at the bottom of this post, along with the giveaway information.

Today I am sharing a card I created using an adorable bunny stamp included in the kit. It was fun to create and I hope you will give it a try.

I was inspired by Easter baskets and wanted to add a "basket" to my card. To do so, I started by cutting 1/2" X 8 1/2" strips of Sand, Azalea, Pumpkin and Peony cardstock.

Next, I placed double-sided tape along the top of a 3 3/4" X 4 3/4" Dove White cardstock panel. I adhered five Sand strip ends to the tape.

To create the basket, I inserted the Pumpkin, Azalea and Peony strips in an over/under pattern ensuring they remained straight. Once the weaving was complete, I trimmed the excess and adhered the basket to the panel.

To continue, I glued the "basket" panel to 4 1/8" X 5" Arctic cardstock panel. Next, I die cut two Dove White circles of different sizes and stamped "Hello" on the larger one. I then die cut two Sand circles and adhered the Dove White circles onto them.

I stamped the bunny in Taffy Reactive Ink and die cut and glued it to the smaller Sand/Dove White circle.

Next, I adhered the "Hello" sentiment to the "basket" and popped the bunny onto it with foam squares. I added enamel dots and adhered the panel to a top-folding card base.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  Next on the hop is the talented Seeka! Thanks for taking a peek.
