3-D FLOWERED LETTERS

Letters in progress

Close up view

Finished project displayed at Baby Shower

Our family is awaiting the arrival of grandbaby #4...Taylor Lily due in late September! I was asked to create 3D floral letters for the baby shower. I have always wanted to try Lori Whitlock's awesome 3D letters and I felt this was the perfect occasion. I have used Lori's SVGs in the past and knew I would be pleased! Her letters can be altered to a larger size which was what I needed for this project! I altered the size (making sure each letter was 10 inches tall) and cut out the letters on my Cricut Explore. I used thick cardstock and painted the front and back of each letter.  The assembly was easy.  Honestly, the hardest part of this project was hot gluing all of the flowers (purchased on sale at Michaels) onto the letters. My fingers tips were a little numb after I was done! I love the finished project and it will be used to adorn Taylor's room.
