Hola everyone. Today I am sharing an additional card I created with the beautiful HeroScape layering stamp set included in both the Hero Arts June 2023 My Monthly Hero Classic and Premium kits.

I love classic movies! Recently, while watching A Stolen Life (1946), starring Bette Davis as twin sisters and Glen Ford (for the 10,000th time) an idea for this card came to mind.
I wanted to use the Hero Arts June 2023 MMH Kit HeroScape layering stamp set to capture moonlight. In addition, I knew the lighthouse included in the set would be perfect for a Pear Blossom Press light.
To create the card, I started by layering the water and clouds with Dusty Blue, Deep Ocean and Nautical inks onto a 4" X 5.25" Periwinkle cardstock panel. I blended Periwinkle and Nautical to create the sky. For the moon and reflective water ripples-Unicorn White ink.
With a needle, I gently pierced a hole in the lighthouse where the lamp would be.
I placed the ink panel onto a white 4" X 5.25" cardstock panel, place a pencil the the pierced hole to mark where to place the light.
Next, I assembled the Pear Blossom one light and adhered it to the panel with double-sided adhesive and tested the light.
I placed foam tape around the edge of the white panel and removed the release tape.
I place the white panel into the upper corner of my MISTI stamping tool. I then laid the ink panel on top. This technique ensured my panels would line up perfectly!
I adhered the panel to an A2 card base.
I love adding this extra fun element to my card!
I hope I have inspired you to create light-up cards using your favorite stamps or die-cuts and Pear Blossom Press lights! Oh! If you get a chance, watch A Stolen Life.
Thank you for taking a peek!
