Handmade for the Holidays Catalog Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

 

Hola everyone. Thanks for joining Hero Arts in celebrating the 2022 Mixed Media Release Blog Hop and Giveaway! If you hopped over from the amazing Mindy Eggen, you are in the right place. For my first card, I used the Pumpkin Bundle. It includes a clear stamp set and and coordinating frame cut.

Card Instructions

1. Stamp Buffalo Check Pattern onto a 4” X 5.25” white 

    cardstock panel in Canary Ink. 

2. Adhere the panel onto an A2 card base. 

3. Stamp, color and die-cut pumpkins and adhere to the   

    Buffalo Check panel.   

4. Stamp and fussy cut the sentiment; adhere to card with foam 

    dots for dimension.

  

For my second card, I used the Holiday Cardinal Bundle-which includes a clear stamp set and coordinating frame cuts. 

Card Instructions

1. Create a circle card base with Cherry cardstock and Nesting

    Circle Dies. Check out a short tutorial by Rachel Kleinman on

    how to make circle cards HERE.

2. Die-cut and adhere gold glitter circle to card base.  

3. Die cut and adhere white cardstock circle to card base.

4. Stamp, color and die-cut red cardinal image and adhere to 

    card base.  

5. Stamp and trim sentiment on white cardstock and mat with

    Cherry cardstock. 

6. Adhere to card with foam squares for dimension.

Whimsical Wildflowers 2|Gina K Designs

Hola everyone! Hope you are having a great Tuesday! 

The latest Gina K Designs release is LIVE! I designed a card with the new "Whimsical Wildflower 2" clear stamp and coordinating die set!  

Card Instructions

1. Cut a black cardstock panel to 3.75" X 4.75" and mat with red 

    cardstock. 

2. Stamp flower image randomly in black ink onto a white 3 5/8"X 

    4 5/8"cardstock panel; adhere to black/red panel.

2. Stamp, color and die-cut flower three times. 

3. Adhere die-cut flowers onto the panel-I used foam squares for the

    top two flowers to add dimension. 

4. Adhere the panel onto an white A2 card base and place random

    drops of Glossy Accents on the petals to complete card.

THREE ROOM STUDIO SATURDAY CHALLENGE #87 ~ Your Favorite Stamp Set!

 Hi everyone! Today's Three Room Studio Challenge is: YOUR FAVORITE STAMP SET. I created tags with the Believe in Fairies clear stamp and coordinating die sets.  My tags were fun to design and I hope you will give them a try. 

Card Instructions

1. Die cut or create tags. My tags are 2.5" X 4.5" 

2. Apply ink color of choice onto tags with "Star Ray Quarter" stencil. 

3. Stamp sentiment in black onto tags.   

4. Stamp, color and die cut fairies and apply to tags. 

Easy right?!?

THREE ROOM STUDIO SATURDAY CHALLENGE #86-CELEBRATION

 Hi everyone! Today's Three Room Studio Challenge is: CELEBRATION. I created a card with the "Yay!" clear stamp set and coordinating die. My card was fun to design and I hope you will give it a try. 

My daughter Courtney recently began her journey at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. I created a card to celebrate her acceptance! 

Card Instructions

1. Cut Cranberry cardstock to 4" X 5.25" and ink "Star Ray Quarter" stencil with with gold ink.

2. Adhere panel to an A2 cardbase. 

3. Find image on the internet; print onto cardstock. 

4. Die-cut image with T-shirt die; adhere to panel. 

5. Stamp; color; die-cut image from "Yay!" set; adhere to panel.

6. Stamp and die-cut "hooray!" from set; adhere to card with foam dots for dimension.  

7. Sprinkle enamel dots on card panel to complete.

Hero Arts August 2022 My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

The August kit is a celebration of summer. It features beautiful layering Desert Road stencils and great sentiments. The desert road is perfect for day or night scenes.

For my first card, I created a night scene with the Layering Desert Road stencil.

Card Instructions

1. Blend Passion Flower, Orchid and Amethyst core inks onto 

    Amethyst cardstock.

2. Place Layering Desert Road stencil "a" onto blended panel; mark

    squares in the corners with a pen/pencil and ink with Wet Cement.

3. Place Layering Desert Road stencil  "b" on to blended panel; 

    match marked squares to ensure stencil is lined up correctly 

    and ink with Charcoal.

4. Place Layering Desert Road stencil  "c" on to blended panel;

    match marked squares to ensure stencil is lined up correctly 

    and ink with Granite on the cacti and Unicorn on the moon. 

5. Place Layering Desert Road stencil  "d" on to blended panel; 

    match marked squares to ensure stencil is lined up correctly 

    and ink with Pitch Black.

6. Stamp sentiment in Pitch Black and cut panel to 4" X 5.25".

7. Brush moon lightly with Iridescent Shimmer Mist.

7. Adhere the panel onto an A2 card base. 

For my second card I used the Desert Road Stencil-a beautiful add-on to the August MMH Kit.

Card Instructions

1. Place Desert Road Stencil into Dove White cardstock with Cotton 

    Candy, Dandelion, Papaya and Periwinkle Core Inks. 

2. Cut panel to 3.75" X 5"and mat with Nautical cardstock.  

3. Adhere the panel onto an A2 card base. 

4. Stamp sentiment onto white cardstock in Pitch Black ink, trim and 

    adhere to panel.
