Christmas Tree Pieces Fancy Dies|Hero Arts

 Hola everyone! Hope your day is going well. Today I am sharing a card I created with the Christmas Tree Pieces Fancy Dies. It is one of the optional add-on products that complement the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero October Kit:Victorian Christmas. 

The set is perfect for cards and other projects as it includes twelve dies in all, including ornaments, candles, presents, and even an angel. 

I love non-traditional colors for holidays. My favorite for Christmas are teal and pink and my card reflects those colors. It was fun to create and I hope you will give it a try. 

To begin, I die-cut Large Snowflakes several times in Dove White cardstock and glued them to a 4" X 5.25" white cardstock panel, cutting off the excess. I love the look of a tone-on-tone background. 

I then adhered the panel to a top-folding A2 Dove White card base.   

To continue, I die-cut the Christmas Tree one time in Chestnut cardstock and four times in Paradise cardstock. I layered the Chestnut tree onto three of the trees. I blended Blue Raspberry and Pool Party inks on the the fourth tree for dimension and glued it onto the tree stack. I then adhered the tree to to card panel. 

Next, I die-cut the ornaments and star several times in Glitter Paper Holiday Sparkle-Silver. I made one additional star die-cut in white cardstock and colored it yellow. 

I then layered the star and backed it with the yellow star and adhered it to the tree. 

I adhered the silver ornaments to the tree along with Icicle Sequins and Pink Hero Hues Enamel Dots.

Next, I heat embossed "Merry Christmas" from the October 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit 6" X 8" clear stamp set in silver onto white cardstock. Once trimmed, I back it with Paradise cardstock.

To complete my card I popped the sentiment strip on the tree with foam squares.
