Hero Arts September 2021 My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hola everyone! Thanks for joining Hero Arts in celebrating the September 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit Release. If you hopped over from the talented Mindy Eggen you are in the right place. To start the hop from the beginning, visit the Hero Arts Blog. The entire blog list can be found at the bottom of this post, along with the giveaway information.

This month's theme is: Fall Goodness. The stamps, layering stencils, dies and inks included in the main kit and add-ons reflect a variety of seasonal icons that will give you all of the autumnal feels!

Today, I am sharing two cards. The first card showcases the beautiful sunflower image from the main kit. Two useful message dies in a lovely font compliment the image.

To begin, I partially stamped the image onto a 4" X 5.25" black cardstock panel with embossing ink. I then heat set white detailed embossing powder onto the image.

Next, I die-cut "thanks' and heat set it with white detailed embossing powder and adhered it to the panel.

I glued several Icicle Mix sequins to the panel and adhered it to an A2 side-folding card base.

For my second card, I used the Autumn Messages clear stamp set add-on. The mix of seasonal sentiment messages will definitely inspire smiles.

To create my card, I stamped the knitted onto a 4" X 5.25" Cranberry cardstock panel in white ink. I adhered the panel to an A2 card base.

Next, I die-cut the heart hands from the August MMH 2021 kit using the Colors of Earth Paper and adhered them to the card. I placed a silver glitter paper punched heart in the middle of the hands with a foam square

To continue, I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock in Red Royal ink and matted it with Cranberry cardstock. I then adhered it to the card panel.

To complete the card, I added enamel dots to one of the hands to create a bracelet and a few on the card panel.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today and are inspired to create your own. Next on the hop is the awesome Seeka! Thanks for taking a peek.

  18. Hi, PPam - I love your elegant b/w card (Thanks). It's very pretty and allows the sentiment to have more import by not having to compete with lots of color. The second card is very cleverly done -- Love the sweater-like texture background with the coordinating sentiment. Excellent!
