With Valentine's Day right around the corner, the January My Monthly Hero Kit celebrates love and friendship.

For my first card, I used two "gem" Fancy Die Cuts included in the kit.

Card Instructions
1. Swipe Cotton Candy, Papaya and Dandelion Core Inks onto work
surface and lightly spritz with water.
2. Using the "smushing" technique, press a 4" X 5.25" white
cardstock panel several times onto the ink until you get the
    coverage you like.
3. Dry the panel with a heat tooladhere the panel onto an A2
    card base.
4. Stamp sentiment in black Intense ink onto the panel.
5. Die-cut the two "gems" in various colors; glue to panel.

For my second card, I used the Box of Chocolates Fancy Dies-a beautiful add-on to the January MMH Kit.

Card Instructions
1.  Die-cut the hearts two times in Cherry cardstock and one in white.
2.  Adhere the white heart onto one of the hearts. This will be the
     candy "box".
3. Die-cut the bow and hearts in silver glitter; arrange and adhere
to the 2nd heart-the box "top".
4. Die-cut "candy" and "wrappers" in Woodland, Cup O' Joe and
Colors of Earth cardstock; use white gel pen to highlight the
    "candy", adhere to "box".
5. Adhere "box" to A2 card base.
6. Use foam tape to adhere box cover to card base.
7. Stamp and die-cut You're Mine sentiments and adhere to card base.
