Hola everyone. Thanks for joining Hero Arts in celebrating the June 2022 My Monthly Hero Kit release. If you hopped over from the awesome Mindy Eggen, you are in the right place. To start the hop from the beginning, visit the Hero Arts Blog. The entire hop list can be found at the bottom of this post, along with the giveaway information.
The June kit has a gorgeous mermaid accompanied by fish, sea grass and coral.
For my first card, I have seated the mermaid under the sea.
Card Instructions
1. Blend the Blue Hawaii, Splash and Blue Raspberry inks from the
panel.
2. Heat emboss Sand onto 1/3rd of the panel.
3. Stamp the "bubbles" from the kit above the "sand" onto the panel in
Unicorn ink.
4. Blend Grape Slush and Berry Smoothie Reactive Inks from the
Reactive Ink Palette in the kit onto Amethyst cardstock. Then,
stamp, die-cut and adhere sea grass to "sand". Heat emboss
additional Sand to cover bottom of sea grass.
5. Adhere panel to A2 card base.
6. Stamp, color, die-cut and adhere mermaid to panel with foam dots
for dimension. Dot white get pen to mermaid's tail.
7. Embellish mermaid with pearls from the kit for jewelry.
8. Stamp sentiment in black Intense ink onto Sand cardstock, trim and
adhere to panel.
9. Stamp, color, die-cut and adhere oyster shell to panel with foam dot
for dimension. Add one Large Antique Pearl to the center of the
shell.
For my second card I used the Message In a Bottle clear stamp and coordinating frame cut sets. They are fun add-ons to the June MMH Kit.
Card Instructions
1. Partially stamp Sun Ray Bold Print in Canary onto a 4" X 5.25"
white cardstock panel.
2. Stamp bottle with cork image in black Intense ink onto white
cardstock and color with medium of your choice.
3. Stamp sentiment inside of corked bottle with black Intense ink and
color if desired.
5. Dot the bottom of bottle with several brown markers/pencils for
"sand".
6. Adhere the panel onto an A2 card base.
I hope the June 2022 Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit inspires you to create cards expressing thanks, celebrating birthdays and more.
