Hero Arts|Tuskegee Airman Birthday Card

Hola everyone. Hope you are having an amazing day! I am sharing a card I created for Retired Tuskegee Airman, Sgt.  Victor W. Butler's 100th birthday today.

Sgt. Butler requested cards for his birthday. As of today, it makes me smile to share Sgt. Butler has received over 12,000 cards.

Sergeant Butler was part of a group of Black pilots and airmen that fought in World War II.

Card Instructions
1. Die-cut Birthday Message Cover Plate in gold cardstock and set letters aside.
2. Die-cut the Birthday Message Cover Plate three times from white cardstock. (Save the negatives for later projects.)
3. Adhere one of the negative panels to black cardstock.
4. Inlay the letters into the negative spaces.
4. Adhere the gold letters to their respective stacks.
5. Die-cut several 5 Point Stars in Mustard and Canary cardstock; stack and adhere to panel.
6. Adhere additional military themed embellishments to panel.
7. Adhere panel to a 4.5" X 5.75" Cranberry cardstock card base.
