Hero Arts Spring 2022 Catalog Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Thanks for joining Hero Arts in celebrating the 2022 Spring Catalog with a blog hop and giveaway. If you hopped over from the talented Mindy you are in the right place. There are many new products in the 2022 Spring Catalog: stamps, dies, stencils, tools and much, much more! I am excited to share three cards using products from the new catalog! 


Hello Friend

My first card features the Koi Bunch clear stamp set. 

Card Instructions

  1. Stamp the Koi Bunch onto a 4" X 5.5" Cherry cardstock panel with clear embossing ink.
  2. Heat set the image with Gold Embossing Powder.
  3. Stamp sentiment from the set in black ink onto the panel. 
  4. Cut Glitter-Holiday Sparkle Gold paper into two 5.5"X 3/8" strips and adhere to long sides of a top-folding A2 card base. 
  5. Adhere Cherry panel to card base to complete.

My second card features Looking Glass Birthday Party

Card Instructions

  1. Die-cut a square about 2/3rds down into an A2 white card base using an Infinity die. 
  2. Stamp sentiment below the square in black ink
  3. Stamp Pearl Strings Bold Prints onto Bermuda 4" X 5.25" in Soft Pool Ink-this will be used as the background.
  4. Die-cut Looking Glass frame in Arctic cardstock and adhere to square opening. 
  5. Die-cut, color, arrange and adhere layers to card. 
  6. Adhere background panel behind layers inside of card. 
  7. Add Sunset enamel dots to complete. 




Easter Wishes

My third cards features the Color Layering Bunny clear stamp set and coordinating frame cuts.

Card Instructions

  1. Mask a 4.25" X 5.5" white panel with washi tape to create a square. 
  2. Blend Taffy and Berry Smoothie Reactive Inks onto the panel.
  3. Stamp the sentiment onto the blended panel in black ink
  4. Stamp the bunny in Cup O' Joe Ink. 
  5. Color, die-cut and adhere the bunny to the panel. 
  6. Adhere panel to a top-folding A2 card base. 
  7. Add pink enamel dots to complete.

Hero Arts will give away THREE $50 gift cards drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, February 20th at 11:59pm Pacific and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts Blog the following week.

  32. I'd bet the beauty of Chinese New Year inspired the colors for this koi fish card, really pretty... tee hee and it's not too often you hear elegant fish in a sentence. The looking glass birthday, yassss!

  33. Gorgeous! I often avoid stamps that look like they need to be colored in, forgetting how stunning gold embossing on red cardstock can be. Love the Looking Glass birthday, too. And your bunny is adorable!
