Caring Flowers|Gina K. Designs

Hola! Happy Wednesday! Hope your week is going well!  Today is the release of the Gina K. Designs Caring Flowers clear stamp set. The floral image is beautiful. The sentiments express self caring as well as caring for others.

My card was easy to create and I hope you will give it a try.

I created a stencil using a rectangle nesting die. I placed the stencil onto white cardstock and blended Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Wild Honey Oxide inks within the rectangle.

I spritzed the panel with water and heat set to dry.

I cut the panel down and stamped the floral image and sentiment.

I then matted the panel to black cardstock and adhered it to a top-folding A2 card base.

To complete the card I added a few sequins.

I hope you were inspired by my card today and will give it a try.

Thanks for taking a peek! Enjoy the rest of your week.

Next, I die-cut six balloons from the kit in: Paradise, Mustard, Canary, Adriatic and Cherry cardstock. I adhered them to the card ensuring the red balloon was higher than the others.

I added highlights to the balloons with white gel pen

To continue, I stamped a sentiment from the kit onto the panel.

To finish, I popped the puppy onto the panel with foam squares for dimension and adhered the panel to the card base.

Hero Lifestyle RBG Notecard

Hola everyone! Hope you are having a great day!

I adore the Hero Lifestyle Collection and was excited to see a new addition to the 2021 Summer CatalogHero Lifestyle RBG, a nod to the amazing late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I created a card with the same set for the Hero Arts 2021 Summer Catalog Blog Hop. You can find the link at the end of this post.

My notecard was easy to create and I hope you will give it a try!

To begin, I created a 4" X 4" notecard base with Antique Ivory cardstock.

I then stamped Sunburst Bold Print onto a 3 3/4" X 3 3/4" Dove White cardstock panel and adhered it to the notecard card base.

I heat set gold embossing powder onto a scrap piece of cardstock and die-cut the letters R, B and G from the Luggage Tags Alphabet Frame Cut set.

I also die-cut the crown from the RBG set in gold.

die-cut the robe, shoes,  glasses, gavel, collar and gloves with black, white and brown cardstock and adhered them to a die-cut  Infinity Tag

I decided not to use the the Hero Arts Forms Fancy Dies or Lifestyle Faces as I wanted to give my card a different look!

I glued the tag and gold letters to the card panel. A black enamel dot completed the card.

Quick and easy right? I hope you are inspired to give it a try.

Hola everyone! Today's Three Room Studio Challenge is: Birthday. My card came together quickly and I hope you will give it a try.

I then positioned the stencil onto a 4" X 5 1/4" white cardstock  panel and blended Wild Honey and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks within the circle.

Next, I stamped the sentiments onto the circle.

To continue, I stamped, colored and die-cut one of the fairies from the Believe in Fairies clear stamp set and adhered it to the card panel.

Here are the Copic Markers I used...

You Are Wonderful!

Hola! Hope you are having a great day! Today I am sharing two slimline cards I created with the Bee Crafty Art Stamps Set- Journaling Girl: Cheer. This sweet clear stamp set can be purchased at The Craft Store

To create my cards, I followed Jessica Gerstner's YouTube tutorial on how to cut one sheet of 6X6 paper to make a slimline card without scraps. To take peek at Jess' tutorial CLICK HERE.

The hair on the image in the Journaling Girl: Cheer set is perfect to practice shading, blending and highlighting coloring techniques. If you follow me, you know I cannot resist an image that I can alter. So, for my first card, I changed the pigtails to an afro!

After creating two cards following Jess' tutorial, I stamped the image in black dye ink onto white cardstock leaving enough room to add an afro. Dye ink is safe to use with alcohol markers.

I then sketched an afro with a pencil and traced over it with a Copic multiliner pen. I erased the pencil thereafter as the lead does not react well with alcohol markers.

To continue, I laid the base for the afro by making circles within the sketch with the Copic multiline pen.

Next, I layered the afro with circles in T4, T6, T8 and T10 Copic Markers until I was happy with the look.

I colored, stamped eyes from the set and fussy cut the remainder of the image. I created a mask and glued it to the image.

Next, I stamped and die-cut "wonderful" from Hero Art's Wonderful Stamp & Cut set and adhered it to the card. I then stamped "You Are" onto the card and added enamel dots

To finish, I adhered the image to the card.

For my second card, I did not alter the hair. I stamped, colored and fussy cut the image and popped her onto paper punched balloons with foam squares

I die-cut "Happy Birthday" from the Altenew's Essential Strips Die Set, matted it and adhered it to the card.

I added enamel dots to complete my card.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today! Thanks for taking a peek!
