Hero Arts March 2021 My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here! Thanks for joining Hero Arts in celebrating the March 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit  Release. If you hopped over from the talented Mindy Eggen,  you are in the right place. To start the hop from the beginning, visit the Hero Arts Blog. The entire blog list can be found at the bottom of this post, along with the giveaway information.

Today I am sharing a card I created using an adorable stamp included in the kit. It came together quickly and I hope you will give it a try.

I was inspired by Sandy Allnock's YouTube tutorial on "How to color moon light with Copics".  I loved how Sandy colored a sweet Halloween cat with a moonlit background. To check her video click HERE.

For my card, I started by die-cutting a circle from the Nesting Circle Infinity Die Set to create the moon. I then used Y000, W0 and W1 Copic Markers to create craters.

To continue, I die-cut the next largest size circle from the set and traced it onto a 4" X 5 1/4" card panel with a Y000 Copic Marker to add additional glow to the moon.

Next, as Sandy demonstrated in her tutorial, I used B34, B37 and B39 Copic Markers to create the sky. I then used a medium sized paint brush to splatter white acrylic paint onto the panel.

To continue, I adhered the moon onto the panel. I then stamped, colored and die-cut the image and popped it onto the moon with foam squares for dimension. You may chose to color the image as you please.

Next, I stamped a sentiment onto a Dove White strip and glued it to the panel. I adhered the panel to a top-folding A2 card base to complete my card.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  Next on the hop is the talented Seeka! Thanks for taking a peek.
