Hero Arts January 2021 My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop

Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here! Thanks for joining Hero Arts in celebrating the January 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit Release. If you hopped over from the talented Mindy Eggen you are in the right place.

Today I am sharing a faux watercolor card I created using the flower stamp included in the kit. It came together quickly and I hope you will give it a try.

To begin, I inked the stamp in thirds with Hero Arts Reactive Inks: Blue Raspberry, Berry Smoothie and CreamsicleI lightly misted the stamp with water and stamped onto the front of an A2 watercolor cardstock base.

This left a nice watercolor impression of the flower image. I cleaned the stamp as I would use it later.

Next, I dabbed the same color inks onto my glass media mat. With a water brush, I used the inks to paint the flowers. I repeated the same technique with Fresh Lawn and Cup O' Joe inks for the leaves and stem.

I used a heat tool to completely dry my watercolor image. Then, I stamped the image again with Inten-sified Black Ink.

Next I stamped one of the bees with Inten-sified Black Ink and used Lemon Drop Reactive Ink to color it in.

To complete the card I stamped the sentiment, splattered Berry Smoothie onto the card with the water brush and added enamel dots.

I hope you enjoyed my faux watercolor card. Next on the hop is the amazing SeekaThanks for taking a peek.
